The
HOB (Hamilton Open Band) is a community dance band that plays for its
own Movable Feet contra dance series as well as for other dances and
special events in and around Hamilton Ontario.
The HOB always
welcomes new members, musicians of all genres and experience who wish
to participate. Repertoire consists of 32-bar folk tunes--mainly jigs
and reels--played specifically for contra dancing.
Gigs, jams
and rehearsals are currently held on a sporadic basis. For more
